DOWNTOWN DOJANG.... THEN & NOW

Standing
next to G.M. Kim Soo are General General Choi Hong-hi and G.M. Lee Nam-suk
of Changmu-Kwan. Gen. Choi figured
since G.M. Lee Nam-suk was
G.M. Kim Soo's teacher in the early 1950's that he might
be able to persuade him to join the ITF.
Gen. Choi
Hong-hi
visited Houston two more times in an effort to persuade G.M. Kim Soo to join
the ITF. G.M. Kim Soo firmly turned
Gen. Choi
Hong-hi's
offer down saying that he needed to preserve Master Yoon Byung-In's legacy.
Gen. Choi Hong-hi
wasn't upset and
he
remained a good friend of G.M. Kim Soo's. In May 2005 G.M. Kim Soo visited
his cemetery in Pyong Yang, N. Korea.
