Inside the old Downtown DoJang, our original school location. Probably sometime in late 1969 after the DoJang was completed.
Note the (green) tile floor; it was very hard and slippery; within a year or so after that, we had carpet on the floor.
Folks from left to right:
Gus Pradley, Nick Cokins, Dr. Sun-Woo Kang, Eddie Grigson, and (then) Master Kim Soo.
Mr. Cokins was the original owner of the downtown property; he allowed Kim Soo to live there and open a school in return for free lessons.
Dr. Kang was then President of the Korean / American Friendship Association.
