Until he finalized the designs for his own patches, students wore these pathches on their uniforms. (Then) Master Kim maintained ties to the 'Kang Duk Won Mudo' association in Korea and his early students were registered as members in that organization also (System Patch on the right).
The School Patch (on the left) was from the first school he opened in Korea. Labeled "Korean Taekwon Karate Academy" it's known as the "KTKA" patch.
