31st Anniversary of Grandmaster Kim Soo first arrival in Houston (1968) - Dinner at Seoul Garden Restaurant

To celebrate we typically have a combined training class in the morning and a buffet-style dinner party in the evening on the closest Saturday. This year we lucked-out because it actually fell on a Saturday.

Speeches and presents are given. In this photo (left to right) Master Sean Kim, Sydney Kim, and Grandmaster Kim Soo pose with a commemorative plaque given by his Houston schools.

For the curious: Sydney Kim is the daughter of Master Sean Kim and thus the grand daughter of Grandmaster. Yes, she studies Chayon-Ryu and and is working her way up the ranks.
